Foolish mortals, thinking that they could possibly hope to stop Horrorthon with a global pandemic.

This year's IFI Horrorthon is still going ahead, with screenings now taking place online via the IFI@Home platform. The full schedule of movies is up, and includes a total of 22 movies to choose from, running from October 22nd until October 26th.

"The main goal was not to disappoint anyone by not having a festival this year," said Horrorthon spokesperson Mick Fox, "but to fight on, and make it the best event possible, and that's exactly what it is. Everyone's in for a great time!"

If that wasn't enough, none other than Joe Dante - director of 'Innerspace', 'Gremlins', and 'The Howling' - will be taking part in this year's Horrorthon, with a special recorded Q&A taking place on Saturday, October 24th.

Individual screenings cost €7.50, with plenty of multi-movie packages available. You can get your tickets right here, and check out the programme for Horrorthon 2020 below.
