This is something we want to see. Idris Elba, star of 'Luther' and 'The Wire' has expressed his interest in starring in the next 'Inbetweeners' movie and is willing to do anything. Anything you say? He might want to be careful there given the antics of the foursome.

The actor, who is better known for his roles as an anti hero drug dealer in The Wire and maverick cop in Luther, is a massive fan of the show. Anthony Head, who plays Will's Dad in the show, caught up with Elba recently. Head said, 'He says he'll do anything in it. He said he'd do a walk-on, so I've got to email them and say: 'Idris Elba wants to be in it.'

Where as Elba is probably the last person you would expect to show up in an Inbetweeners movie, this is precisely why Head reckons he should be on it. 'Idris is so cool... it would absolutely work,' he said. Head also confirmed that he didn't know yet if he would be returning to the show saying, 'I haven’t heard anything and I don’t even know what the storyline is,' but when asked would he interested he said, 'Er yeeees'. Bit keen?

The Inbetweeners sequel was confirmed a few months back and Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas are all set to reprise their roles as Will, Jay, Neil and Simon. However, it is yet unknown what the film will be about and how exactly would Elba fit in. What do you think, could you see Elba in the next movie?
