We have a lot to thank Deadpool for. It was funny, entertaining and actually groundbreaking for comic book adaptations it seems.

Due largely to the success of the Ryan Reynolds starrer, the last Wolverine film Hugh Jackman will make will be 'R' rated, which essentially means Weapon X will get to slice and dice.

“It is an R-rated movie,” Producer Simon Kinberg confirmed to Collider. “It’s violent, it’s kind of like a Western in its tone. It’s just a very cool, different film.”

That Western aspect is very interesting; mainly because returning director James Mangold helmed the underrated 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.

Boyd Holbrook and Patrick Stewart are slated to appear alongside Jackman, while the film has apparently already begun filming.

Sneaky stuff, lads.

We'd bet the gaff on Wade Wilson turning up in this one too.
