The cast around Colin Farrell in the blockbuster remake of Total Recall has been announced.
Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Ethan Hawke, Bill Nighy and Brian Cranston will all take roles in the Len Wiseman directed flick, which will go before cameras in June, for a tent pole release next year. There will be changes to the original plot, where Farrell's character Douglas Quaid is a factory worker who thinks he is a spy, but isn't sure if he works for Euromerica or New Shanghai. There will be no tripping to mars for this one...
Wiseman was kind of screwed with Die Hard 4.0. He was never given a chance to make the movie he wanted to make, so whatever people thought of the Underworld films, he hasn't had a chance to direct a huge budgeted action film before - now he does.
