You know the drill - a new Hollywood blockbuster hits the screens, another easy target for the guys over at 'Honest Trailers'. Their latest victim is this summer's 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom', and the result is just as you would expect - off-the-wall hilarious.
'Honest Trailers' starts with some backstory for the new movie, "after the original park was destroyed, and the park they rebuilt was destroyed, what's left of that park... will be destroyed." Starring "Red Head Redemption" (Bryce Dallas Howard) and "Indiana Groans" (Chris Pratt), they hold no punches in labelling the blockbuster "The Bland Before Time".
This is the sixth movie to be released in the Jurassic Park/World movie universe, and you would think cinema-goers would be bored of dinosaurs breaking out of their captivity - but you would be mistaken. Featuring "one dimensional morons", even though the film is sitting at a Rotten Tomatoes score of 49%, it still made over 1 billion USD at the box office.
You may laugh at this Honest Trailer, but the real people who are laughing are Universal Studios, who we've thrown all of our money to.
