Irish documentary His and Hers has become one of the highest grossing homemade flicks in recent memory, overtaking the likes of Once and Ondine.

The film received, pretty much, unanimously positive reviews upon its release, and has now gone on to take nearly eight times its paltry €100,000 budget. It's been a huge success for the gorgeous Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield and Element Pictures, and will encourage more financing for Irish productions - which can only be a good thing.

One of our writers, Mark Linehan, caught up with the film's director just as the flick was being released.
