Guy Ritchie is this morning being linked with a remake of Guys and Doll, the musical that starred an in-their-prime Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra, which was turned into a West End show starring Ewan McGregor. Now, this information is coming from the beacon for journalistic integrity that is The Sun, so we're not sure how true it is - as they've quoted "a source." With the current trend for musical adaptations cleaning up at the box-office, this was somewhat inevitable. A remake was planned a few years back with Vin Diesel mentioned as a possible star, but The Sun are saying that Jason Statham is talking to his buddy Guy about a role. Quite probably bullshit, but still, a fun story nonetheless; even if the source is about as trustworthy as an OJ testimonial.
