The always brilliant Joseph Gordon-Levitt is reportedly in advanced talks to reunite with his Inception helmer Christopher Nolan for the third film in his Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises according to Deadline.com.
Levitt's role is apparently unclear, although he has been rumoured for some time to be taking the part of iconic Batman villain, The Riddler, which would give the film three villains (depending on which way Nolan goes with Catwoman). Tom Hardy has already signed on for Bane, with Anne Hathaway squeezing into some latex to portray Catwoman.
Michael Cane, Gary Oldman and, of course, Christian Bale will all return. Nolan has previously confirmed that this will be his last Batman film - as helmer at least.
