Now that Indiana Jones is under Disney's control, it's only a matter of time before they begin to roll out Indiana Jones films to beat the band.

After the incredibly disappointing Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, it looked like that was it for Dr. Henry Jones, Jr.  and his exploits. Here and there, it would seem, there's been rumblings that a fifth one is on the way with one Chris Pratt involved in the process.

A recent interview with producer Frank Marshall has shed a bit more light on the subject. "We haven’t even sat down to talk about Indy yet... at some point we’ll sit down. But there’s a bunch of people who could probably take the baton. We’re not doing the Bond thing where we’re going to call somebody else Indiana Jones."

Lucasfilm, which is under Disney's banner, has said that they're exploring all properties in their care which includes Indiana Jones. However, considering there's Rogue One, Episode VIII, Episode IX, the Han Solo standalone movie, a possible Boba Fett / Bounty Hunters' Guild standalone movie and who knows what else to get through, our guess is Lucasfilm has its hands full at the moment.

That being said, rumour has it that the only reason Harrison Ford signed on for The Force Awakens is that they'd agree to make another Indiana Jones film. Again, that's purely rumour - and, being honest, we've a hard time believing that.

Harrison Ford, it's true, wasn't crazy about the character Han Solo and petitioned to have him killed off as far back as The Empire Strikes Back. Indeed, the original draft for Return of the Jedi saw Solo killed off earlier in the film - which Ford was in favour of.

We've got a hard time imagining Ford sitting down and arguing a case for Indiana Jones with a new Star Wars trilogy on the table. Still, it's good to hear that they're not trying to drop in a new actor for Indiana Jones.

What do you think? Would you want to see a fifth Indiana Jones? Let us know in the comments!
