Paramount have pushed back the date of G.I. Joe 2 by several months, so that reshoots can take place, reinstalling (?) Channing Tatum as a star, say Deadline.com. According to the sites editor, Nikki Finke, test screenings haven't gone well at all.

The sequel goes in a very different direction than the first film, with Dwayne Johnson apparently the lead this time out. Judging by the trailer, he and Tatum's character seem to get on like a house on fire until Tatum's character is blown up. The actor wasn’t that big of a star when the first 'Joe' was released a couple of years ago, but is now a genuine box-office draw after the back-to-back success of The Vow and 21 Jump Street. The studio would like to capitalise on that.

It was due to open in July, but now Americans won't see it until March.
