Gerard Butler is back on the action movie trail, with the fun sounding flick Manhunt.

According to Deadline, Breck Eisner is down to direct the film about "a team of FBI agents sent to the North Carolina wilderness to chase the FBI’s most wanted man a domestic terrorist and survivalist named James Tollan. They enrol the help of a reluctant bear hunter to capture him, but the group finds themselves being hunted by Tollan who will stop at nothing to survive and defend his territory." I would put money on Butler playing the reluctant bear hunter.

I like how simple this concept is. Butler is far better in action films than he is in romantic comedies, and Eisner did a great job with The Crazies.
