GAZE Film Festival's On Tour section is kicking off for a third year in conjunction with Access Cinema.

LGBT documentary The Case Against 8 will screen in a number of cinemas across Ireland. The documentary follows the historic campaign to overturn Proposition 8, a California legislation that prevented marriage equality.

At the centre of the documentary is a gay couple who took a federal lawsuit to the US Supreme Court in an effort to validate their marriage.

The documentary took over five years to make, with interviews and candid behind-the-scenes footage from the legal teams, the families and the community involved.
