Another day, another Zach Galifianakis role is announced; this time the breakout star of The Hangover will star in a movie written by Once helmer, John Carney, called Town House. Galifianakis will play an agoraphobic man living with his teenage son, whilst living primarily off of his dead rock star father's residuals. Amy Adams has also been cast as the love interest, who Variety are saying is a hooker with a heart of gold. Once was a big hit in America, but Carney is apparently not attached to the project as a director. It is described as a comedy/drama which would give Galifianakis a chance to prove himself as more than just a comedic actor, even at this early stage in his thespian career. Expect a directorial announcement soon.
