In a surprise move, Disney have announced that the record-breaking, Oscar-winning hugely successful animated movie that has parents and children around the world unable to stop themselves from singing "do you want to build a snowman" is definitely getting a sequel.

Reports before the announcement this Thursday seemed to suggest that the movie was a ways off, after driector Chris Buck and producer Peter Del Vecho stated that they were "not actively working on it at the minute" in a recent interview regarding the sequel, adding that they still needed to find what would come next in a way that fit with the world they had created.

However, in the annual shareholders meeting today, Disney announced that a sequel was on the way, and in a statement about the movie, John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Walt Disney said "Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we’re taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that"

As Lasseter stated, both Lee and Buck will return to direct, while Peter Del Vecho will produce again. Kristen Bell is certainly looking forward to getting the call to repreise her role as Anna too, judging by her tweet about the good news.

She's keeping a cool head about it at least. Sorry. Anyway, we'll leave the final say to Olaf, who pretty much knows how we're all feeling right now.
