Josh Gad's 'Reunited Apart' has proven to be one of the more positive aspects of recent times, especially if you love your classic movies. The 'Frozen' actor has reunited the casts of 'The Goonies'; 'Back to the Future'; 'Lord of the Rings'; and 'Ghostbusters' over zoom. This week he got the cast of 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' together again.

'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' hit cinemas back in 1986 and remains an '80s favourite for many.

The feature made a star of Matthew Broderick and for many, it is still their favourite John Hughes ('Pretty in Pink', 'The Breakfast Club') movie.

Cast members Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara and Jennifer Grey all joined the 'Reunited Apart' episode. Cindy Pickett and Lyman Ward (who played Ferris' parents) also joined, as did Ben Stein, who is responsible for that iconic "Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller?" line.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Kenny Ortega drop in too.

This is an essential 45-minute watch if you love the movie and are looking for some behind the scenes trivia as the cast shares plenty - including that there were a couple of characters (younger siblings) cut from the movie.

The finale offers a tribute to the legendary John Hughes. Molly Ringwald, Steve Martin, Michael Keaton, Catherine O'Hara, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, and Alisan Porter recreate their famous lines.
