Colin Farrell has spoken over the failure of Alexander, while out doing press for excellent new cop drama Pride and Glory. He said: "Alexander hurt, you know - and again people are going to say 'Get over it, you were well paid' and all that. But Alexander hurt." He then added: "It was a film that was made to be seen by many people. Not many people saw it and they weren't particularly fond of it, and that was s***, it was really s***". Farrell has turned his career around after a couple of disappointing films, with him garnering praise for his turns in In Bruges and Pride and Glory. He needs a big role to push him back to the A-list (if that's what he wants), and Sam Mendes' Preacher could just be it.
