Colin Farrell has signed up for his first post Golden Globe winning performance. The Castleknock native will play a career criminal trying to go straight, who becomes a handyman for Kiera Knightley's bored actress. The flick is called London Boulevard and will be shot in the English capital with The Departed scripter William Monahan making his directorial debut with the project. They sure are a marketable pairing, and if Monahan goes down the Stephen Gaghan/Tony Gilroy path of award winning scriptwriters directing, then we really could be in for a special production. Farrell will next start shooting the Peter Weir directed drama The Way Back in March, before moving onto 'Boulevard' in the summer.
