If there's one movie we're stupidly excited about seeing that we KNOW won't let us down in 2014, it's The Wolf of Wall Street. Fear not, though it has been hyped to high-jaysus, Martin Scorsese will not let us down; he is a genius.

Well here at entertainment.ie, we like to share our enthusiasm. We want you to see it too. Before everybody else. Why? 'Cause we're sound, and January's shitty enough as it is.

Anyhoo, we've got tickets to give away to some lucky folk for the Irish premiere of the movie that ought to *fingers crossed* earn Leo DiCaprio that elusive Oscar.

As for the plot? Revered filmmaker; Martin Scorsese directs the story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio). From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s. Excess success and affluence in his early twenties as founder of the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont warranted Belfort the title - "THE WOLF OF WALL STREET."

Money. Power. Women. Drugs. Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant. For Jordan and his wolf pack, modesty was quickly deemed overrated and more was never enough.

Date? 15th January. Venue? The Savoy. Time? Doors 6.30
