Gru is back and as adorably evil as ever. Really, what's funnier than one large super-oaf borrowing money from the Bank of Evil in order to steal the moon, accompanied along the way by some ditsy mini minions. Throw some adorable animated kids (even cuter than the real thing; these ones don't cry) and you have a winner. This time around Gru and his adopted daughters must face a whole new host of problems and overcome the real villains of the world.
This summer, the Despicable Me sequel returns film favourites such as Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Benjamin Bratt, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, Steve Coogan, Ken Jeong and Elsie Fisher to our screens, or at least their voices. Essentially all comedy heavyweights will lend their voices of hilarity to the picture. Another winner, we think.
