Truth be told we actually quite liked the sequel. It was pretty and the soundtrack was cool at least.
Now it's been confirmed that director Joseph Kosinski will return to helm, while Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund will reprise their roles. No word on Jeff Bridges, or his likeness being used here. We reckon he'd charge too much and Disney know his inclusion doesn't really mean box office - as Seventh Son most recently proved.
Kosinski last directed the Tom Cruise starrer Oblivion, when the actor actually came to Ireland to promote it. That too was pretty with a nice soundtrack. We're sensing a pattern here...
Shooting is set to begin in the next few months.
