So if you haven't been made aware, or have been ignoring me shouting it from the rooftops, yesterday I met Henry Cavill. Call him Superman, calll him Man of Steel, call him what you want. Call him my new boyfriend. Call him a big fat ridiculously attractive ride whose looks would reduce mere mortals to tears; it all works. Apart from being blindingly handsome (forgive me as I couldn't help but fawn over him, melting into a little puddle of total awe, seriously look at the pic; he's BURSTING out of his shirt) he also does a damn good job of bringing the hugely iconic character of Superman to life. He fills the suit in more ways than one; he IS Superman.

I caught up with the man himself to talk about that first fateful meeting with Russell Crowe (watch it; it's inspiring stuff), whether or not he'd consider taking on the role of James Bond, and what tips he has for all the Irish lads among you, who'd fancy yourselves a Man of Steel body. He also discusses his desires to return to Ireland, having spent so much time here filming The Tudors.

Enjoy! And more to come from the rest of the cast in a wee bit.
