Horror aficionados are no doubt looking for the next big scary movie and 'Annabelle Comes Home', which has just hit Irish screens, is hoping to be just that.
'Annabelle Comes Home' is a sequel to 2014's 'Annabelle' and 2017's 'Annabelle: Creation'. It is the seventh installment of 'The Conjuring' franchise.

What is 'The Conjuring' series and where does 'Annabelle' fit into it?
The first two 'Conjuring' movies, released in 2013 and 2016, follow a couple named Ed and Lorraine Warren who are paranormal investigators, trying to help people possessed by demonic spirits.
Various spin-off films focus on the origins of some of the entities the Warrens come across. 'Annabelle' and 'Annabelle: Creation' focus on a demonic doll that the Warrens come into contact with at the end of 'The Conjuring.'
Chronologically, 'Annabelle Comes Home' takes place between 'The Conjuring' and 'The Conjuring 2' in the year 1972.
What’s 'Annabelle Comes Home' about?
The Warrens bring Annabelle to the locked artifacts room in their home and place her behind sacred glass to keep her from wreaking havoc. But one night, the possessed doll awakens the evil spirits in the room. Their target is the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.
Who are the cast and crew behind it?
Series regulars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return as Ed and Lorraine Warren. Mckenna Grace ('Gifted') joins the cast as their daughter, Judy. Madison Iseman ('Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle') plays babysitter Mary Ellen and Katie Sarife plays Daniela. Samara Lee reprises her role as Bee from 'Annabelle: Creation.'
Gary Dauberman wrote and directed 'Annabelle Comes Home' in his directorial debut. The story is co-written with 'Conjuring' universe godfather James Wan. Wan also produced the film with Peter Safran.
