Amidst all the James Bond casting speculation, one movement that's gathered a lot of traction online is for Gillian Anderson to play 'Jane Bond'.
The X-Files actress retweeted a fan made poster last week and the response has been largely positive.

However if Anderson wants the role she's going to have some competition in the form of the Mother of Dragons herself Emilia Clarke.
The Game of Thrones star told the UK's Daily Star that: “I have a lot of unrealised dreams. I would love to play Jane Bond."
Clarke even went as far as to dream cast her ideal 'Bond Boy'.
"My ultimate leading man would be Leonardo DiCaprio. No doubt about it.”
Some would argue that women deserve a better heroine than simply James Bond in drag but if the likes of Emilia Clarke and Gillian Anderson were be in the running to fill the role then it would definitely be something worth checking out.
