Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Mark Wahlberg may star together in quite possibly the most testosterone fuelled flick ever made, Pain and Gain.
"That sounds macho", I hear you say, but "possibly the most testosterone fuelled flick ever made"? Well, Michael Bay is planning on calling the shots, and it's about bank robbing weightlifters. The budget is described as "low for a Michael Bay movie", meaning it won't cost $200 million and closer to a tenth of that. Wahlberg and Johnson are both extremely busy, but the part seems made for the latter of the two - and negotiations are apparently much further along with him. Bay wants to shoot it "quick" and described the script as "very funny". But he also thinks Martin Lawrence is funny, too, sooooooo...
Anyhow, count on at least one of those actors signing up. And things moving forward quickly when he does. If Wahlberg pulls out, two words, Ryan Reynolds.
