Samuel L. Jackson and Transformers star Josh Duhamel are set to co-star for the supernatural thriller Sympathy for the Devil, according Latino Review by way of Dark Horizons.

The pair will reportedly play lawmen caught in a "cosmic confrontation between Heaven and Hell after stopping an assassination attempt of a charismatic preacher." Sounds suitably apocalyptic, which seems to be all the rage right now.

Boaz Yakin who (most memorably) helmed Remember the Titans is on board as director. Shooting is due to begin soon, while Duhamel has the romantic comedy When In Rome due out next week in America.
