David Duchovny, Demi Moore and Amber Heard will form the perfect family in The Joneses, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Flick will be a drama based on a seemingly perfect family, who move into a well-to-do area and are soon the toast of the town. But they are entirely fictitious and part of a marketing plan to introduce envious goods to suburban areas around the world. Duchovny and Moore will play the parents, while Heard (Pineapple Express) will play the daughter who is trying to seduce her fake father. This is a really fantastic idea for a film, as the concept alone has bags of potential. Little known German helmer Derrick Borte will direct the film, while the brilliant Gary Cole will also pop up playing a neighbour.
