The 2012 Disney hit Wreck-It-Ralph is officially getting a sequel. The announcement was made this morning via Facebook live, with John C. Reilly, and directors Rich Moore and Phil Johnston sharing the news.

Wreck-It-Ralph is about a video game villain, who is tired of being the bad guy, and wants to be the hero instead. However, his quest to become a good guy brings mayhem to the arcade where he lives. It grossed over $450 million worldwide so news of a sequel is not all that surprising.

Not much was revealed about the plot for the new film, but it will involve Ralph creating havoc on the internet. John C.Reilly, who voices Ralph, will obviously be involved but it's not yet confirmed which other characters will be returning.

No title has been confirmed but the film is scheduled to be released in the US on March 9th, 2018.
