Although we're less than two weeks away from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a few spoilers are starting to leak out online.

We already reported on exactly who Jena Malone would be playing in the Blu-Ray / Extended Cut of the film, but now it appears that Ben Affleck himself dropped a couple of spoilers during a recent interview. Nothing major, mind, but they're still spoilery.

Look away now, as always.

OK, so, Affleck was asked about how his iteration on Batman would be much more different than, say, Christian Bale's and Christopher Nolan's. Affleck reiterated most of what we've heard about his take on the character, saying that this Batman is much more world-weary, specifically calling him "very disillusioned and very bitter."

What's more, however, Affleck provided some context on what exactly made his Batman so angry. "He’s bitterly disappointed in the past that he’s lost this guy who fought by his side. That character’s death must have been devastating to him, and he’s suffered. We get the sense that he’s suffered a lot of devastating losses before this movie even starts."

Yup, that's Robin he's talking about. To be fair, it was pretty well a dead certainty (heh) that Robin wasn't going to feature in Batman v Superman, especially since you see this in the trailer.

Still, if that theory (that Jared Leto's Joker is actually Robin gone insane) holds out to be true, Affleck's comments here still make sense. It goes to that whole thing about points of view, that Robin died and Joker came into existence. Who knows. Maybe we're reading WAY into this.

Not like we do that on a regular basis or anything. Cough.
