Mark Wahlberg is reteaming with his Contraband director, Baltasar Kormakur and quite possibly Denzel Washington in the graphic novel adaptation, Two Guns, reports Deadline.com.

The story follows a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who "unwittingly investigate each after each steal money from the mob." It's not yet clear who is playing what role, but there's definitely a pattern forming for the ridiculously charismatic Washington, who just starred with Ryan Reynolds in the tight thriller, Safe House. Said pattern involves working with younger movie stars with a penchant for action. In fairness, Denzel Washington is easily the most profitable actor near his age range for studios.

Contraband has done very well at the American box-office, so this reteaming was probably a bit of a no brainer for Wahlberg and studio, Universal - who acted fast to reteam them.
