Seeing as every other classic movie is getting a script read these days, it was only a matter of time before 'Dazed & Confused' got a cast reunion and script-read.

Indeed, 'Dazed & Confused' is a great example of a young cast going on to huge things. Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, Parker Posey, Adam Goldberg, Anthony Rapp, Milla Jovovich, Reneé Zellwegger all had their some of their earliest screen credits on 'Dazed & Confused'.

The live script read will take place this day week, at around 11.30 our time, and will have a live Q&A with the cast moderated by Patton Oswalt afterwards. The script read is to raise money for March for Science and the Voto Latino Foundation's campaign to promote voting in Texas in the upcoming US election. You can watch the live table-read once you make a donation of any amount here.

Released in 1993, 'Dazed & Confused' was written and directed by Richard Linklater, and became a cult hit with audiences and music fans, on account of its fantastic soundtrack. Not only that, it had some well-known fans too. Quentin Tarantino declared it to be one of the greatest films of all time in the 2002 poll for Sight & Sound, and it's regularly topped lists of greatest high school movies and movie soundtracks ever made.

All that said, it's going to be weird seeing how they recreate a scene like this with a live read.
