David Fincher is to make the move into TV with news that he'll be involved with an American adaptation of the British mini-series, House of Cards. The original series was politically based, and centred on an ambitious politician looking to get into power towards the end of Margret Thatcher's tempestuous reign atop the British political hierarchy. The new series would see its setting transferred to America, while Fincher himself may direct the pilot, which will be then shopped around the networks.
