To say that the whole 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' mess has become a headache for all involved is to understate the case - and that's without mentioning the many disappointed fans who were eagerly anticipating the third installment in the James Gunn-directed franchise.

Now, actor Dave Bautista - who plays Drax in the series - has cast doubt on whether he will return for 'Guardians 3', the production of which is currently on-hold 'indefinitely'.

Bautista had previously threatened to quit the film if Gunn's original script was not used, but in an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show over the weekend, he expressed doubt about working for Disney in the future.

“It’s a bitter-sweet conversation — um, no it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn," he said. "They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely. To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney.”

Gunn has still not commented publicly on the fallout, while Disney have yet to name the person who will take over directorial duties on the film.
