More to the point, it has been reported that the man himself is set to star in a new thriller titled 'Blood Mountain'. Another strong name.
Sergei Bodrov ('Mongol', 'Seventh Son') will be in the directors chair with Lawrence Bender (Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds') producing alongside Nicola Horlick and James Gibb, according to reports by Variety.
The film sees Cumberbatch star as a private military contractor left to accompany one of the world's most wanted terrorists across hostile terrain, after his team of special forces are killed in a raid. As well as surviving the inhospitable environment, the contractor must fend off enemies and bounty hunters looking to claim their stake, before bringing the terrorist to justice.
This one sounds perfectly awesome to me.
