Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise may appear in a romantic comedy together, directed by Walk The Line helmer James Mangold. Cruise is currently weighing up his options with about seven projects currently vying for his attention, while Diaz would appear with him for the first time since she drove him off a bridge in Vanilla Sky. According to Variety, the proposed film is called Trouble Man and revolves around a woman who has bad luck with men but finds her Mr. Right when she goes on a blind date with a mysterious, handsome man. Cruise, and we're going out on a limb here, would play the aforementioned handsome man. Mangold last helmed 3:10 To Yuma, which Cruise was supposed to star in, but was replaced by Christian Bale after a scheduling conflict. Valkyrie, his last film, is continuing to nudge towards the $200 million mark worldwide - despite some analysts predicting a flop. In your face analysts (is what Cruise is probably thinking.)
