Castleknock boy Colin Farrell is on his way home to the Emerald Isle to start shooting a brand new movie with Zero Dark Thirty star Jessica Chastain later this month. Eeeeek.

As per IFTN, the pair will team up to star in a screen adaptation of Miss Julie, a Swedish play which tells the tale of an aristocrat's daughter, who wants her father's valet to seduce her. They've altered the story slightly, moving the setting from Sweden to Ireland. Our Colin is playing the rough and rugged servant, Samantha Morton stars as wife, and Chastain will play the daughter of an Anglo-Irish aristocrat. Please let her get the accent right...

Originally written in 1888, the play has caused it's fair share of controversy over the years. It was a bit too 'sexually charged' by some peoples' standards, and was even banned in the UK for over 50 years. Sure doesn't that take us back to the 'Country Girls' days, wha? Where's Edna O'Brien when you need her?

Norweigan actress and director Liv Ullman will helm the project, which begins shooting as Castle Coole in Co Fermanagh later this month. Anyone fancy a day trip?
