Colin Farrell is back in the blockbuster business. The Castleknock actor has already wrapped the mammoth budgeted Total Recall remake, and is now in negotiations for another biggie.

According to Variety, Farrell is set to star in (the recently cancelled) King Arthur epic, Arthur and Lancelot; replacing one of the main, previously announced stars - Kit Harington (of Game of Thrones fame) and Joel Kinniman (he of The Killing and the recently announced Robocop). Both actors had scheduling issues when the film was put on hold due to budgetary worries, and writer/director David Dobkin has managed to get it off of the ground again with a possible household name.

Dobkin is more known for his work with comedies - Wedding Crashers and the more recent The Change-Up - but this is obviously a passion project for him. Good to see Farrell headlining big budget flicks again regardless.
