Clive Owen will play the lead in IRA thriller Shadow Dancer from Man on Wire director James Marsh, according to Movieweb.com.
The film will begin production in and around Dublin in May and Owen will be joined by X-Files star Gillian Anderson and Andrea Riseborough, who appeared in the hugely underrated Never Let Me Go. Marsh told the website, “it's a genre film, it's a thriller. It's very exciting to be doing something like that now, to have that kind of canvas to fill." Irish actor Aiden Gillen will also appear.
Marsh was also one of the directors behind the very well received mini-series Red Riding.
