Christian Bale has reportedly entered talks to star in Darren Aronofsky's Noah movie, according to Vulture.

Aronofsky is directing his passion project after being forced to pull out of Wolverine 2, and will instead direct the $120 million film after shopping his script around Hollywood. "It's the end of the world and it's the second most famous ship after the Titanic," he said. "It's a really cool project and I think it's really timely because it's about environmental apocalypse, which is the biggest theme for me right now for what's going on on this planet," the Black Swan helmer told Slash Film in 2008.

A studio home is yet to be confirmed for the production, but expect one to be announced soon.
