They're not the most likely of on-screen partners, but something tells us that Chris Hemsworth and Tiffany Haddish might just bounce off each other brilliantly in their forthcoming film.
The Aussie actor and the American actress/singer/comedian will team up on 'Down Under Cover', a new 'buddy-cop'-style action comedy. The plot will see Hemsworth's undercover detective paired with Haddish's 'lone wolf' cop. Together, they will seek to crack the case of “a series of baffling casino heists in which the prime suspects are a troupe of Australian male erotic dancers.”
The film, written by Peter Hoare, is already drawing comparisons with the likes of 'Rush Hour' and '48 Hours'. It's being shipped around to buyers at the forthcoming Cannes Film Festival.
