Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Now that's a bromance we'd like to see come to fruition on screen. They've been pals for quite a while now so it's high time they combined their talents for our viewing pleasure (we're discounting G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, 'cause there was no dancing/stripping involved). They can both act, they can both do the serious stuff and the funny stuff AND they can dance. Did you see their separate performances at this year's Oscars? And they're hot. And they're a dab hand at the strip teases. And Gordon-Levitt can sing. Can Tatum? Well he must be able to belt out a tune or too 'cause rumour has it these guys are top of the list for a new Guys and Dolls movie. We're not sure yet which of them would play the two leads Sky Masterson and Nathan Detroit.
Reported by Deadline, Fox has just secured the rights to Frank Loesser's musical. What's more, it's not just Fox who want this duo of triple threats, the lads want in on the action too.
Could Tatum and Gordon-Levitt make for a modern day Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra? It was those two who first took on the roles in MGM's 1955 interpretation of the story. I'mma take that as a resounding 'hell YES'.
