A new trailer for 'Cats' arrives just weeks ahead of its release.

The first trailer landed back in July. No doubt this latest will inspire a similar response as those cat people still looks seriously creepy.

Its all-star cast includes James Corden, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Idris Elba and Rebel Wilson. Singers Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson and Jason Derulo also appear.

English ballerina Francesca Hayward stars in her first feature-length film role. A world-class cast of dancers under the guidance of Tony-winning choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler ('Hamilton', 'In the Heights') additionally support the cast. Blankenbuehler choreographed the stage musical's 2016 Broadway revival too.

Tom Hooper ('Les Miserables') directs and co-wrote the screenplay with Lee Hall ('Billy Elliot', 'Rocketman').

Set over one night, it sees a tribe of cats called the Jellicles choose a cat to ascend to the Heaviside Layer.

The movie is adapted from the longest-running West End and Broadway show. Its music is from musical legend Andrew Lloyd Webber.

It hits cinemas December 20th.
