Steve Carell will star and produce in what is described as a "testosterone comedy" called Hi-T. Story centers on a man who is forced to take a high level of testosterone injections after an injury leaves him incapacitated; the resulting side effects make him all shouty, and probably sprout extra hair in places he didn't even know he had. No director has yet been named to helm, but the script is being written by License To Wed scribe Kim Barker. Carrell is a gifted comedian, with a penchant for picking broad comedies lately. Whereas someone like Brick in Anchorman was a constant crack-up, Get Smart and Evan Almighty proved decidedly less amusing. He's still fantastic in The Office, and 40 Year Old Virgin has stood-up well to constant rewatching. Sounds right up his street in terms of physical comedy.
