Brandon Routh has joined the increasingly impressive cast of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, joining stars Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and the recently cast Chris Evans. Routh will play one of Winstead's "exes", who Cera must do battle with in order to win the heart of the girl of his dreams. Apparently, the action takes place whenever one of the aforementioned "exes" approaches, and the film goes into full-on Manga mode, which sounds like a lot of fun. The flick is being directed by Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz helmer Edgar Wright, serving only to further fanboy anticipation; while the last book in the series is due next month. The series itself is supposed to be very good - I may get one. If they're shit and I'd be wasting my time please tell me and I'll buy Cadbury's Cream Eggs instead.
