Warner Bros plan to make a movie about controversial cyclist Lance Armstrong and The Hangover / Silver Linings Playbook star Bradley Cooper is currently in talks to hop into the saddle for the lead role (possibly) as well as lending a hand as a producer according to Deadline.

The movie will be called Red-Blooded American and Cooper is hoping to take on the part of Lance himself or possibly Tyler Hamilton (one of Armstrong’s teammates, who was also implicated during the big doping scandal).

Cooper was previously linked to the lead role in a different movie from JJ Abrams’s Bad Robot Productions after Abrams obtained the rights to Juliet Macur’s upcoming book Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstong.

A third Armstong movie from Working Title Films is also thought to be on its way with Ben Foster taking on the title role.
