Ben Affleck has just added another movie to his slate of possible directing gigs.

According to Deadline.com, the Bostonian actor/director is seriously considering helming the intriguing sounding film, American Bullshit. The script by Eric Warren Singer turned up on the Hollywood blacklist of unmade screenplays last year at number 8, meaning those that read scripts for a living in Hollywood (agents etc) felt it deserved to get made. The film is about "the true story of Abscam, the FBI's 1980 undercover sting operation of Congress to root out corruption which was the brainchild of the world's greatest con man."

Affleck is also considering The Switch, another true life tale; this time of wife-swapping in Major League Baseball. His last film, The Town is out on DVD now.
