Reports are coming out of Hollywood today that Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Memento) has agreed to develop a Superman reimagining for Warner Brothers. Nolan won't have writing or directing duties, but will have more of a mentoring role throughout the production.

There hasn't been any word, positive or otherwise, stating whether Superman Returns' director Bryan Singer and star Brandon Routh will be returning. Don't bet on it though.

Meanwhile, Nolan has reportedly settled on an idea for his third Batman film and David Goyer and Jonah Nolan have begun scriptwriting duties.
