The third Batman film will start shooting next year, according to Gary Oldman. The English actor, who played Jim Gordon in the first two movies, revealed this information while promoting his upcoming movie The Book of Eli at Comic-Con in the US. "I think Batman is next year", said Goldman. "We start shooting next year. You didn't hear that from me!" Rumours are abound that a new director will have to be found seeing as Christopher Nolan has still yet to sign on to the project. You would imagine that Warner Bros. will do everything in their power to get Nolan on board, seeing as the first two films in the series grossed as incredible $1.4 billion in the global box office.
