Kevin Bacon has signed on to star in My One and Only, joining Renee Zellweger, Chris Noth and Terminator 3 star Nick Stahl in the flick that has just started shooting. According to Variety the film “"s inspired by George Hamilton's childhood adventures as he and his brother were taken on a road trip by their eccentric and glamorous mother, who drove along the East Coast looking for a rich man to take care of the family." The criminally underrated Bacon will play the philandering band leader she tries to leave behind. There are very few actors working today with the raw capability of Kevin Bacon, and more often than not his staggering talent is cruelly overlooked. Let’s hope this role gets him some more recognition.
