Look, let's face it - 'Avengers: Endgame' is a three-hour movie and there's a good chance you've either trained your bladder to withstand that kind of timeframe OR you're just going into it marginally dehydrated.

We're not medical professionals, but neither one of these can actually be good for you. With that in mind, because we've seen the movie (and you can read our review here), we can now tell you exactly when's a good time to go to the toilet and relieve yourself.

We're not going to give away spoilers to the movie, but we have identified three scenes that you can head out to the toilet and not miss anything major in terms of plot or action. Again, if you'd rather not know ANYTHING about the movie and you're happy to hold it in for three hours, don't read any further.

There's a scene at the start, roughly 20 to 25 minutes in, where you'll see Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) in a room surrounded by people. There'll be a man talking about a date. You can, if you absolutely need to, get up and head to the bathroom during this scene. Nothing of consequence happens as such, but it is definitely a character-development scene and sets the stage for where the world at large is. Also, fun fact, the man talking is Joe Russo, one of the movie's directors.

Around 30 minutes into the movie, you'll see Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) walking around San Francisco. He'll be pulling a trolley around San Francisco and looking slightly bewildered. You can leave during this scene, as it's essentially just him trying to piece together what happened when we, the audience, are already aware of what's gone on. There's a nice moment towards the end of this scene that you might want to stick around for, but nothing major happens otherwise.

Roughly around 1 hour into the movie, there's a scene with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) in a sitting room. The two of them are sitting on a couch. Nothing of consequence happens in this scene. You can comfortably leave the cinema, head to the toilet, come back in about three to four minutes, and you'll have missed nothing in particular. The next scene involves two of the Avengers discussing something outside a building, and that's when you should be back in your seat.

Your third and final chance to use the restroom is when 'New Jersey' comes up on screen. You've got maybe five minutes, and then you need to be back in your seat for the finale. If you leave after this scene, you're going to miss... well, everything. So, really, ensure that you're comfortable from this point on.

Of course, if you're not feeling the movie at all and the Marvel Cinematic Universe holds no interest for you, feel free to jump out of your seat whenever.
