If you were happy to hear that Ted and Mark Wahlberg will present at the Oscars, wait until you get a load of this. Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Samuel L Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo will also be teaming up to hand out a gong.
Academy Awards producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have confirmed that the Avengers will indeed be assembling on stage for one night only on February 23rd. "We are happy to re-unite the Avengers cast to present on our show," said Zadan and Meron. "Audiences who enjoyed the year's biggest box office hit will be excited to see these terrific actors back together again."
It's certainly shaping up to be quite the show. Now it's over to Seth MacFarlane to live up to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Golden Globes standards. That's going to be one hard critically acclaimed act to follow.
